er, IBM announced last week that they were stopping the production of the Cell. What gives...
@ godmars. How exactly did MS slap Japan in the face by losing SO4 and Tales of Vesperia? Those were independent publishers that did the slapping, not MS. Stop blaming MS for everything. It's not their fault that those JRPGs jumped ship any more then it is Sony's fault for losing Devil May Cry and Grand Theft Auto.
Funny how you fanboys talk about how MS throws gobs of money to get exclusives from Sony, but when MS "loses" two JRPGs, it's MS slapping Japan in the ...
Realistically speaking, yes they did do poorly in comparison to previous years. But they've also had the most disappointing line-up this year as well. When Natal is released, I think it'll mix things up a little.
Probably the most disappointing thing about the 360's presence is the failure to follow up on the JRPG hype that they were hyping a few months ago.
UGH, this is that same website that flipped around the PS3/360 images and published a comparison.
I HATE cynamite. NOT CREDIBLE
c'mon, it's not like MS tried this year...
looks..huh?
It's just a one sided teen rant. Whoever approved this should be banned.
well, IWNet has nothing to do with Live... get out
And now scariest game list of the month.
bubbles for Death. It really is worth it when you think how MS is ensuring a positive gameplay environment by policing the cheaters.
They KNOW that you're paying for a positive experience, so to ensure that, they put in these rules and regulations. I'm very happy that I haven't run into any Javelin glitchers in the past two days. Again, thank you MS for making this a good experience for me.
Looking back on old articles, PS3 owners weren't really stoked about this game. The graphics looked shoddy at best and the whole concept looked like it was pandering to a non-existent Gears of War Sony fanbase.
There were VERY FEW PS3 owners excited about this title.
As a 360 owner, why on earth would you want a Gears clone when you already have Gears?
All I know is that when I see a javelin cheater, I file a complaint. I've done this a few times to hopefully do my part to get the cheater banned.
My last few games have been javelin cheater free.
For this I am very THANKFUL.
Nice Job Guido. Nice job.
a one time disc swap is better then a disc swap every time i want to watch something on netflix streaming... for reals
Haha, you argue for PSN right now. MEANWHILE, while you're getting blown up by cheaters, I'll be playing a legitimate game on Live.
Enjoy
wtf! PSN has it too. It HAD it when MW2 was released. And you fanboiz were flexing your little penis muscles over it.
Now it's on Live and quite honestly, no one seems to care. But it was a much bigger deal when it was announced for PSN. Why? Because you annoying droids don't care about gaming, you just care about jerking each other off.
haha, what makes you think IW is in any rush to make a fix for this? Also, Live should feel obligated to take action since it's a pay-for service. PSN shouldn't feel obligated since it's free and they'll just wait for the IW fix (whenever THAT comes)
ew, that sucks
They plan to make this peripheral, which is completely optional, a bargain, while charging high prices for the REQUIRED peripherals (HDDs, wireless adapters, Live, etc). It's a brilliant plan that allows for an easy advertising with regards to price. With a catchy slogan, there's no stopping them from promoting the device.
Remember, when people buy this, that will AUTOMATICALLY increase sales for the required peripherals. It's really a brilliant plan, imo.
On topic: Offering software that is laden with microtransactions is super gutsy, especially if it were with a flagship name like Halo.
The real question is WHY would they need to offer it for free. It's already guaranteed to sell.
I can see companies wanting to duplicate the success of Farmville, but most Facebook apps don't utilize microtransactions. I think they're awful and prevent you from truly enjoying a game.
It's just a crappy idea.
